I just got back from Hawaii. Part of me is still there wondering about lunch and some sun. The lovely sunrise picture is a view from our balcony in Ko Olina, Oahu.
Did I leave my tarot and oracle cards behind? Don’t be silly! Every morning around 5:30 am I’d get up, go out on the balcony, light some incense and a candle, set my spread cloth out and read away.
Every morning, like clockwork, hundreds of birds would start singing at sunrise! On the patio it was like sitting front row at a bird orchestra. The sound was so joyous I was filled with love and anticipation. I remembered Enrique Enriquez’s remark that he would charge less for really good questions. I’m not sure I asked many of those on this trip; I was so content. But a good one came to mind the second day.
“Why do the birds sing so sweetly when the sun comes up?”
I used my trusty CBD Tarot de Marseille (Thank you Yoav Ben Dov!). I used a typical three card, in-line draw with no assigned positional meanings.
The draw (see the picture):
2 of Swords, Five of Wands and 8 of Coins (Pentacles)
My read:
There is so little they can be certain of. Life is filled with hard choices and strife. The only thing that is certain is that the sun will rise each morning and they are loudly thankful for that gift!
Life is full of challenge, but this is balanced by Love and Spirit. I want to be like them – acknowledging the challenges, but loudly thankful for my blessings.
